Since 4CORE’s inception in 2008, a central goal to all programming and development has been to educate regional residents on the benefits of integrating and adopting resource conservation measures and energy efficiency practices into their daily lives.
Every 4CORE program and project integrates an educational component related to the specifics of the project that encompass energy efficient practices and resource conservation. A common educational component is our “First Reduce, then Produce” checklist which accompanies all energy efficiency and community renewable energy projects.
4CORE’s goal is to make energy efficiency and resource conservation practices easy and affordable and part of everyday living in SW Colorado.
